I wrote over a thousand words today (and did some minor editing of previous words) on my current steampunk short, Melted Cowboys. I hope to finish it and publish it within a couple weeks.
It takes place in Muskovy, on Terra, so it’s an alternate history, with occult overtures. An investigator from Muskovia goes to the Wild East in pursuit of unspeakable things.
