Terra

For y’all new to the site and my stories, they take place in an alternate reality, on a world called Terra.

Superficially it is an analogue to Earth. The stories take place usually in the late 19th century or the early 23rd.

The calendar starts with the foundation of the Academy in Athens.

So,, if things seem ahistorical in what I publish, that’s why.

This is not set in stone, as I made it up twenty years ago for a completely different purpose. That, having been said, it provides a rough timeline for the history of Terra.

I snipped out around 300 years of history parallel with that of Earth, so essentially, Terra is 300 years behind, but more advanced relative to Earth.

[note to self: find the exact notes detailing the parallels…}
